Am I Called To The House of Prayer?
In Luke, Anna was someone who gave herself to night and day prayer for many years to see the coming of Christ. As a House of Prayer we are praying night and day to see His glory released in the earth.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” —1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
- There are many ways to get involved in the House of Prayer. You may just want to serve by gatekeeping 2 hours a week. The gatekeeper is a lobby receptionist, directing those who come through the front doors and need direction or help.
- Musicians and singers are always needed and those who have talent and a heart for worship can attend a scheduled audition. To get more info on being a part of the Worship Department, click here.
- We have volunteer staff positions for those wanting to serve at least 10 hours a week, spending at least half of the time in personal time with the Lord and half doing administrative tasks.
- Then there are those who are called to the House of Prayer vocationally. We have full time and part time intercessory missionaries who depend on support for finances. These IMs serve the House of Prayer by spending half their time in the prayer room in worship, prayer and personal Bible study and the other half in administrative duties and service.
